in autumn in beijing, the sky is high and the clouds are pale. with golden ginkgos and red leaves, the city in this season makes people more reluctant to leave. to satisfy the expectations for “thousands of crimsoned hills and deep-dyed forests”, employees from sam group headquarters, sam culture industry group and sam environmental technology formed a hike team and started a “journey” of enjoying red leaves to labagou virgin forest park on october 17, 2015. 

labagou virgin forest park is beijing’s only virgin forest attraction, and consists of south monkey ridge, glacier and baizhang cliff. sam team’s destination was south monkey ridge with an altitude of 1700 meters. as soon as the group photo was taken at the entrance, sam people couldn’t wait entering the attraction. since sam people came here for the first time, the parkway led everyone to climb. 

there were flattened blacktops, slippery stone steps, rough gravel pavements along the journey to tower pavilion, the landmark building in south monkey ridge. sam people accompanied and encouraged each other, climbing towards the top of the hill. people walking in the forefront sometimes stopped to rest, and encouraged the companions lagging behind to catch up. some supported others with hands. some chatted leisurely. some walked in twos and threes. some took selfies and group photos. it was a great fun. 

“one will undoubtedly reach the peak if only he never stops climbing when confronting hardships and dangers.” in the autumn trip, sam people were not only persistent and enterprising. they also took up challenges, climbed to new heights, helped each other, and kept harmonious. the trip enhanced the understanding and communication between departments and subsidiaries, and confirmed the belief of sam people in working together to create a better future.
