yan’an spirit will be passed down forever. how does one understand the impactful yan’an spirit? what’s the spirit’s charm？could we skillfully combine the spirit with party building to better drive business development and help cseg grow and expand? with such doubt and expectation, all party members and activists of cseg party branch and leaders of business companies went to yan’an on july 20 to participate in a two-day democratic meeting themed“to inherit yan’an spirit and create splendid sam”held by cseg party branch.
the meeting has two parts: study of theory and practical experience. after visiting pagoda mountain, yan'an revolutionary memorial hall, yang jialing village, jujube yards and other revolutionary sites and revolution history exhibition halls on the first day, all members had deep impression on yan’an spirit, composed of original ecology spirits of chinese people's anti-japanese military and political college spirit, rectification spirit, zhang si’de’s spirit, nanniwan spirit, bethune’s spirit, comrades’ spirit in yan’an county and model worker spirit, etc., which influenced their thinking.
participants conducted criticism and self-criticism combined with their own understanding of yan’an spirit, they had thorough analysis for their own downfalls in a sincere manner at the conclusion meeting that evening, stating that they should carefully study spirits of revolution pioneers: self-dependence, hard struggle, free our minds and down to the ground, conduct self-examination and actively correct their own disadvantages.
in nanniwan, all members have personally experienced the change from a remote and poor nanniwan into prosperous place in northern shaanxi upon cpc and military closely uniting the pubic and working hard to create a well-fed and well-clothed life, making itself become powerful and leading to success, then by worshiping a revolutionary martyr, visiting great production campaign exhibition in nanniwan, jointly preparing lunch to remember past misery, shooting, dropping a bomb and participating other military training, experiencing great production campaign, etc. those members had a deeper understanding and experience of nanniwan spirit as important part of yan’an spirit. they also applied such spirit into practical operations in team building projects. they thought deeply and summarized on how to further apply such spirit into daily work and business development in the future. this themed democratic meeting gained expected results since all members presented the solidarity, friendship and self-giving spirits.
yan’an spirit will never be outdated, which is always the powerful mental strength to drive us forward in such changing times. cseg party branch hoped to lead all party members and leaders of business companies to learn yan’an spirit in the practice, pass yan’an spirit down and make joint efforts to create a bright future of cseg.
