on february 18, 2016, morita energy group received good news. after years of efforts, its inner mongolia duowei energy co., ltd. recently successfully completed the exploration and development of natural gas energy in mongolia, and obtained the mongolian gas exploitation license. it is reported that this is the first natural gas exploitation license issued in the history of mongolia.
since then, inner mongolia duowei energy co., ltd. has the right to exploit 6,666 square kilometers of oil and gas in alatan, mongolia. it has approved 60 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves. at the same time, it has obtained a natural gas exploration license covering an area of 40,000 square kilometers in south gobi province, mongolia. according to the exploration data of the former soviet union, the estimated reserves are about 2 trillion cubic meters.
